There are so many incredible places to take photos in the city, but one of my personal favorites and most recommended spots has to be the Art Institute of Chicago. Located right in the heart of downtown in the Loop, it offers such a beautiful mix of architecture, soft natural light, and timeless backdrops that feel both editorial and romantic.

Lucky for you, I’m a member, which means we can get in an hour before it opens to the public for a quieter, more intimate experience. And if early mornings aren’t your thing, I still have access for free entry, so we have flexibility either way. While there are almost always people around, don’t stress. I’m an expert in Photoshop, so any distractions in the background can be seamlessly removed and you’d truly never know they were there.

Another reason I love this location is how convenient it is. It’s right next to Millennium Park, which gives us the option to step outside for even more variety, from skyline views to greenery and iconic Chicago backdrops. It really is the best of both worlds all in one spot.
